Sequestration Forces Treasury Department To Cut Key Renewable Grant Program

The Treasury Department is cutting new awards made under a key renewable energy grant program by 8.7 percent as a result of the budget sequester cuts, which the solar industry says could undermine "the future financial viability" of a number of projects seeking federal funding this year.
