California Appeals Court Signals It May Suspend Low Carbon Fuel Standard

A California appellate court is indicating it will find that regulators violated the state's overarching environmental statute when they adopted a landmark low-carbon fuel standard (LCFS) in 2009 and is asking attorneys in the case to draft proposed remedies where one of the most important issues to be debated is whether the state should suspend the LCFS until the violations are fixed.
