DOE, Interior Sequestration Cuts Could Slow Energy Permitting, Research

The Departments of Energy (DOE) and Interior (DOI) are being forced to make millions of dollars in funding cuts under the White House's order for implementing the budget sequester, and the reductions could cause delays in DOI leasing and permitting for renewable and fossil fuel projects while slowing DOE's clean energy research efforts.
