Transfer Of Coal Leasing Suit Could Hamper Push For Strict GHG Reviews

Environmentalists have failed to keep their suit challenging the adequacy of the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) review of greenhouse gas (GHG) and other impacts in approving several coal leases in a federal court in Washington, DC, prompting warnings from some observers that the venue change may make it more difficult for environmentalists to prevail.
